It can really tame my hair from the roots without drying it out. Although I was a bit afraid that the gold plating may fade after a while, this product is great for my early morning ritual. No wonder that professionals have opted to use the Andis 67095 1-Inch Ceramic Clamp Flat Iron. The Verdict: This product is probably one of the best hair straighteners I’ve ever tried! I instantly understood why most women would prefer Chi over cheaper brands. It is definitely worth the price and I can even flip or curl my hair however way I want to! I didn’t feel like I was heating my hair because it cools pretty quickly and it never seemed like my hair was drying out after several uses. Although I would have loved for it to have adjustable temperature settings for quick touch-ups, it wasn’t really that big of a deal once I saw how my hair looked after the first time I’ve tried it. The Verdict: Professional hair styling has never been so easy with this product. The secret of Instyler lies in the polishing barrels — unlike other models, this really helps make your hair shiny, straight and manageable. I have suffered with frizz and curly hair for as long as I can remember, and the only time that I ever get to see my hair like this is when I step out of an expensive salon. The only strange thing about it is that the motor will make natural rotating sounds, but it’s really not much of a big deal. At $119, you can kiss your curls and flyaways goodbye. Just add a touch of serum and you’re ready to go! I rarely believe in products sold in infomercials, but with the Original InStyler Rotating Hot Iron Hair Straightener, I can definitely make an exception.

When all other hair straighteners are priced at over $50, here comes a flat iron that’s priced at $24.99!  The 2 Inch Conair CS19FCS Ceramic Series Straightener almost seems too good to be true with its $25 price tag, but hearing a lot of buzz about this styling tool made me think about getting one for myself. I have tried several other flat irons in the past, but never something this cheap. Will it meet my expectations and help achieve salon straight hair like their expensive counterparts? I decided to give it a try.

The Product: The Conair CS19FCS Ceramic Series Straightener 2 inch has wide ceramic heating plates for even distribution without having to go crazy on controlling temperatures. It can heat up in less than a minute and will also include over 25 heat settings. It glided over my hair quite easily and removed the frizz in an instant! It also comes with brushes that you can attach to the device to smoothen out the strands. I also read about the two year warranty, which is an added bonus for me given that the product only costs around 25 bucks.

The Verdict: I now wonder why I ever used other styling tools in the past! This is probably one of the best products that Conair has launched in years. While they have offered several flat irons in the past, this is one of the most affordable and effective hair straighteners that I’ve ever used. The non-slip grip makes for easier handling and the automatic shut off helps keep you safe from any fires or accidents. The best part about the Conair CS19FCS Ceramic Series Straightener is how unbelievably cheap it is. Aside from that, I can bring it anywhere because of its dual voltage feature. Expect to say goodbye to frizz when using this one. Best for beauty on a budget!

Finding the right flat iron for unruly hair has been a lot more challenging than usual, but this product claims to perform up to 40 percent faster than most of the other hair straighteners in the market. This styling tool makes use of Nano Titanium, a feature that aids in heat resistance and at the same time protecting your hair from dryness and damage. I usually have high expectations over irons that cost more than $50, and since this is priced at $77.99, I wanted to make sure that I was making the most out of my money.

The Verdict: This styling accessory will be perfect for those with wavy to slightly curly hair. My hair tends to curl at the ends right out of the shower, but this styling tool helps smoothen out my locks pretty quickly. Although I would have preferred it to be a little less expensive than its $80 price tag, I am quite pleased with this purchase. The greatest part about the BabylissPro Nano Titanium 1 1/4″ Straightening Iron is that my hair never dries out unlike the other cheaper models. I don’t need to spend hours at the salon anymore. This product is definitely worth it!

The Remington S-9400 Tstudio Collection Digital Ceramic Hair Straightener with Tourmaline 2 1/4″ Wide Plates sounded more like a household appliance than a hair styling tool, but I was willing to give it a try. The TStudio Collection has launched a line of products with tourmaline, titanium and ceramic, and although I wasn’t exactly sure how this could help make my frizzy hair straight, I decided to make the purchase and understand what these straighteners can do to my hair. Their ad said that the three “Ts” will aid in superior heat transfer and wear resistance, and the ceramic will keep my hair from drying out. For only $39.99, I wanted to find out if this can match the kind of straight hair that I would typically get from a salon.

They also take pride in having plates that are 22 percent longer than most standard flat irons. Aside from that, it can heat up in as fast as 30 seconds and will include a feature called Turbo Boost. This setting allows you to set the straightener to 430 degrees with a simple press of a button, and will automatically shut off if left unused for an hour.

The Verdict: Thankfully, I was pleased with this hair straightener from Remington! It was absolutely perfect for my thick and coarse hair, and it really heats up quite quickly. This flat iron even has what they call the Temperature Lock Mode which helps control the temperature while I’m styling. I initially thought that only the hundred dollar straighteners can really smoothen out my frizz, but I was able to achieve salon straight hair in no less than 10 minutes! With a 4 year warranty, I will never try to use another flat iron ever again!
